Description
Cadmium is one silver-white glossy metal with ductility and toughness, melting point is 320.9℃, density is 8650kg/m³. Cadmium is oxidized slowly in the humid air and lose the metal luster, when heated, formed into brown oxidation layer of the surface, if heated to the boiling point, CdO smog is formed.
High purity (5N, 99.999%) Cadmium is mainly for the photovoltaic devices, stabilizer for plastics and photocell.
