Description
Cadmium is one silver-white glossy metal with ductility and toughness, melting point is 320.9℃, density is 8650kg/m³. The ratio of material and Cadmium in the earth is 1000000: 0.1~1000000: 0.5. Cadmium is refined by the by-product of Zinc ore or sulfur-cadmium or, most of them is used to protect other metals from corrosion and rust, like Electroplated steel, iron products, copper, brass and other alloys. The other application is to produce for Cadmium yellow pigment, which used as the high-end oil paint and painting.
High purity(6N, 99.9999%) Cadmium is mainly for the target material, CdTe thin film solar cell and nuclear industry.
