Description
Tin is a silvery white glossy soft metal (square crystal system and cubic crystal system), with ductility. Melting point 231.88 ℃. Boiling point 2260 ℃. The relative density is 7.28. Soluble in concentrated hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, aqua regia, concentrated nitric acid and hot caustic solution, slowly soluble in cold dilute hydrochloric acid, dilute nitric acid and hot dilute sulfuric acid, cold caustic solution, more slowly dissolved in acetic acid. High purity tin takes tin tetrachloride as raw material, after distillation and purification, it is hydrolyzed into tin hydroxide, and then reduced by hydrogen to prepare high purity tin products.
High purity tin is mainly used for the determination of phosphate and organic synthesis, and also as a reducing agent.
